We are pleased to inform you that National Skill Development Corporation launched the exciting new initiative, “TechBridge: Skill Development for Semiconductor Excellence”, a transformative project designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills for the semiconductor industry. This initiative, a key part of India’s Semiconductor Mission, was officially endorsed through a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) signed on November 22, 2024, between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
In alignment with this strategic vision, we invite your esteemed institution to collaborate and a part of this pioneering program that aims to shape the next generation of semiconductor professionals, The “TechBridge: Skill Development for Semiconductor Excellence” program offers a flexible, learner-centric approach, with students able to learn at their own pace via an LMS platform on SIDH. This ensures accessibility for learners from all regions, regardless of geographical constraints or conflicting schedules.
The “TechBridge: Skill Development for Semiconductor Excellence” program is designed to provide comprehensive training in semiconductor technologies, an industry that is pivotal to India’s growing tech landscape, By participating in this program, your institution will offer students an invaluable opportunity to acquire skills that are directly aligned with industry needs, contributing to both their academic and professional success.
We are confident that this initiative will benefit your students by providing them with:
• Industry-Recognized Certification: Upon completion, students will receive certification backed by MSDE and NSDC.
• Flexibility: With online learning modules available through the LMS platform, students can access course materials anytime and from anywhere.
• In-Demand Skills: Focused on semiconductor technologies, this program will equip students with expertise that is critical to India’s growth as a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing and research.
Key Highlights Of the Initiative:
• Online Self-Paced Training: The program offers flexibility for students to learn at their own pace through an LMS platform on SIDH, ensuring accessibility for learners across different regions and schedules.
• Target Beneficiaries: Students who have completed at least 10th grade.
• Training Scope:
• 130 hours of online training
• Learning experience with industry-standard semiconductor tools and processes
• Comprehensive certification to validate skills acquired
• Timeline:
•Start Date: November 22, 2024
• End Date: December 31, 2024
