We are excited to announce Ingenium’25, an inter-collegiate technical hackathon hosted as part of Pragyan, NIT Trichy’s annual Techno-Managerial Festival. Ingenium is designed to ignite and challenge the brightest engineering minds, providing participants with the opportunity to work on real-world technical problems, pushing the boundaries of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
This year’s hackathon will focus on cutting-edge technologies, with emphasis on hardware and gadgetry, including robotics, mechanics, and electronics. Participating teams will develop innovative solutions, with their prototypes showcased at the grand finale during Pragyan ’25. The event offers a platform for students to enhance their technical, problem-solving, and managerial skills while gaining valuable exposure to industry experts.
Key Highlights of Ingenium’25:
- Eligibility: Participation is open to currently enrolled students at your institution.
- Team Composition: Teams must consist of 4 members, and each participant may only be a member of one team.
- Phases:
○ Phase 1: Idea Submission (Deadline: 4th December 2024)
○ Phase 2: Mentorship and Prototype Development (Guidance from experts)
○ Phase 3: Pragyan Showcase (Final presentation and evaluation during Pragyan ’25)
- Cash Prizes:
○ ₹30,000 for the 1st Prize for each theme
○ ₹20,000 for the 2nd Prize for each theme
○ Total Prize Pool: ₹150,000
- Benefits: Skill enhancement, exposure to industry veterans, collaborative experience, career advancement, and recognition.

Important Dates:
- Abstract Submission Deadline: 4th December 2024
- Shortlisted Teams Announcement: 6th December 2024
- Prototype Video Submission: 27th January 2025
- Final Presentations (Offline): 1st Week of February 2025
- Final Round and Result Announcement: 22nd February 2025
