What is the GDG on Campus Solutions Challenge India?
This hackathon is not just about coding; it’s about building solutions that address critical issues and contribute to a more just and equitable future for all. As a student developer, they will have the chance to collaborate with like-minded peers, develop their skills, and make their mark by solving some of the most pressing challenges of time.

Who Can Participate?
This challenge is open to all final year and pre-final year engineering students.

The participants must be 18 years or older to be eligible.

Participants must be enrolled in a university/college of India.

Participants must be from a GDG Campus. If not, you can find a GDG Campus near you and join to become a member.

Participants can form a team of 2-4 members, each from an Indian college or university.

One participant can join only one team.

One team only has to submit one project.
How to join a GDG on Campus Chapter near you?

Visit gdg.community.dev & In the search bar, type your city name.

All the campuses with GDG on Campus Organizers will appear. Select one of the campuses

Once it takes you to the selected campus page, click on the “Join us” button.

That’s all! Now you are a member of the GDG on Campus Program.
Hackathon Journey
Phase 1: Registration
Individual Registration: The student developers have to register individually.
Create a Team:Participants can form a team of 2-4 members. Invite your colleagues and friends to join your hackathon team.
Brainstorm Ideas:Brainstorm innovative solutions aligned with the problem statements.
Create a Google Developer profile:Submit your DevProfile link while registering. If you do not have one, then follow these steps:
- Go todevelopers.google.com
- Sign in/Sign up using the same email account that you registered for the hackathon.
- Complete the profile setup and ensure your profile is public.
Verify Your Campus: Join a GDG Campus near you (if you do have a GDG on Campus Organiser in your campus)
Phase 2: Join the India Regional Bootcamps
- Register for the Solutions Challenge before Feb 16th.
- Choose a real-world social problem to solve.
- Submit your project idea (presentation & GitHub link) by February 16th, 11:59 PM IST.
- Await Confirmation: We’ll review your submission. If selected, you’ll receive an invitation to attend a Regional Bootcamp.
- Attend the Bootcamp: Gain mentorship, refine your project, and connect with other developers.
Phase 3: Mentorship and Refinement
Top 100 teams will get shortlisted and move on to the next phase.
Mentorship:Top 100 teams will get access to a mentor pool consisting of industry experts and Google mentors.
Google Cloud Certification: Exclusive vouchers for top teams to get certified in Google Cloud.
Career Fair: Exclusive career fair for final-year students to network with industry professionals.
Phase 4: Top 10 Teams Announcement and Mentorship
The top 10 teams will get announced as finalists.
Solution Refinement:Top 10 teams will receive one on one mentorship to further refine their solutions & prepare for the Finale pitch.
Phase 5: Grand Finale
Pitch Presentation:Teams will pitch their solutions to a panel of judges.
Win big:Compete for exciting prizes and recognition to propel your project forward.
